A. Account & Profile Data

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Optional profile data such as bio, interests, and profile picture

B. Event & Interaction Data

  • Event details you create (title, description, location, pricing, images, dates)
  • RSVP details, chats, comments, and join history
  • Uploaded media, chatroom communication, and user-generated content

C. Payment & Financial Data

  • Payment details during event booking, processed securely via Razorpay
  • Billing information such as contact number and address
  • Financial data required for Event Lister payouts, including bank account and verification (KYC)

D. Technical/Device Data

  • IP address, device type, operating system, mobile network, browser type
  • Error logs, access times, and cookie data

E. Location Information

With consent, we collect real-time device location to enhance event discovery and signups nearby

2. How We Use Your Information

A. For Core Services

  • User account creation, authentication, updates
  • Event discovery, content display, and location-based recommendations
  • Secure payment and payout processing through Razorpay

B. To Enhance Experience

  • Personalized feed and swiping interface based on your location, preferences, and interests
  • Enable real-time communication between users before, during, or after events

C. For Security & Legal Purposes

  • Detect, investigate, and protect against security threats, fraud, or misuse of the platform
  • Ensure compliance with legal obligations

D. For Platform Development

  • Analyze aggregated data (event popularity, participation rates, feedback) to improve UX
  • Conduct diagnostics, performance monitoring, and feature testing

3. Event Creators (Listers), Events, and Payouts

A. Event Listing Responsibilities

When you create or list an event on VibeSwiper, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and location-specific information
  • Avoid posting misleading, irrelevant, low-resolution, or suspicious content
  • Maintain legality, safety, and fairness of hosted events

Event Removal: We reserve the right to flag, delist, or remove any event that contains:

  • Inappropriate or unrelated images
  • Misleading descriptions or pricing
  • Incorrect, vague, or unverifiable location information
  • Suspicious behavior or lack of community standards

B. User Safety & Conduct

Event Listers are responsible for ensuring the lawful and safe operation of experiences listed. VibeSwiper disclaims liability for any harm or misconduct occurring during events. However, user reports will be carefully reviewed, and misconduct may result in account restriction or ban.

C. Payments & Payouts

  • All paid event transactions are facilitated via Razorpay
  • VibeSwiper collects the participant payment and deducts a platform service fee/commission
  • Payouts to hosts are initiated post-event, after a quality, fraud, and refund-check window (usually 3-7 business days)

To receive payouts, Event Listers must:

Event Listers are required to enter their valid UPI ID to receive payouts. All payout requests will be reviewed and verified by VibeSwiper before approval. We reserve the right to withhold or delay payouts if the provided UPI ID is invalid, under investigation, or fails to meet compliance or safety standards.

D. Cancellations, Refunds & Disputes

In the case of:

  • Canceled events by hosts or
  • Participant disputes over misrepresentation or absence of safety,

VibeSwiper may withhold or reverse payouts until the issue is resolved. The platform reserves final decision rights on all refund disputes.

4. Sharing of Data

  • With Service Providers: Razorpay (for payments), Supabase (data and authentication), and other vetted partners
  • With Your Consent: Social media features, referral programs, etc.
  • Under Legal Duty: In response to legal requests, or to protect VibeSwiper from fraud or claims
  • In Business Changes: In case of acquisition, merger, or sale, data may be transferred

5. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Account Data: Retained as long as required for active use and legal purposes
  • Deletion Requests: Users can request account deletion; a 30-day grace period applies
  • Payout & Financial Records: Retained for at least 7 years or as required by financial regulations

6. Cookies & Tracking

We utilize cookies, SDKs, and beacons for:

  • Essential operations
  • Analytics (session duration, conversions, etc.)
  • Personalization & content recommendations

You can manage preferences in your browser, but disabling certain cookies may limit functionality.

7. International Data Transfers

Real-world events involve inherent personal and safety risks. VibeSwiper's role must be clear:

  • VibeSwiper is a platform only – we do not directly host, organize, control, or validate real-world events or venues
  • Users participate at their own risk and must take responsibility for their decisions, travel arrangements, and health/safety at events
  • We cannot guarantee legality, safety, or venue conditions

Platform Safety Measures:

  • Event listings may be removed if found unsafe, unclear, fraudulent, inaccurate, or in violation of our content policy
  • Community reporting is available. Our team reviews reported listings or users and takes action (suspension, removal, or ban)

Liability Waiver:

VibeSwiper disclaims all responsibility and liability for harm, losses, injuries, or incidents, unless required by applicable law, arising from event participation or user interactions.

You are encouraged to:

  • Use judgment when attending/hosting events
  • Follow local laws and guidelines
  • Avoid dangerous or non-vetted event arrangements
